How Do I Meet People?

Rose of Light Missionary Baptist Church is a place of worship. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at ROLMBC.

Sunday school

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Rose of Light has small Sunday School classes available for all ages. These classes are held every Sunday. Join us as we learn biblical foundations, applicable for everyday life.

Bible study

Bible Study, why do I need that? I can study the Bible on my own! Sound familiar? Maybe that’s even what you’re thinking right now. And yes, you can study the Bible on your own. In fact, you should! Personal Bible study is essential for deepening your relationship with God. So why study with a group? Because, as Rick Warren says in The Purpose Driven Life, “God didn’t create you to be alone.” Groups offer a place to connect with other believers in fellowship, to grow in your understanding of the Bible, as Jesus’ own small group of disciples did. Here, at Rose of Light, Bible study offers a safe place to get your questions answered and learn together as a church family. If a small group setting is new to you, you’ll be surprised at how quickly you are anxiously awaiting the next class. Join us Monday mornings or Tuesday nights.

Prayer meetings

We at ROLMBC are strongly convinced of the need for regular, focused, corporate prayer and the opportunity for this is provided by our weekly Prayer Meetings. These intimate gatherings provide us the chance to share our physical and spiritual needs with one another, to bear each others’ burdens, and to cast all of our cares upon our caring Heavenly Father. We also spend time praying for our local church, government, and community. Join us every Thursday evenings at 6:00pm.
